Mom. Gävle, Sweden, June 2012.

I have reached the final destination on my route, Gävle, and am happily reunited with my little son. His father has a gig with his band Deportees at the Peace and Love festival in Borlänge tonight, so my mom brought him to me. We met at Arlanda train station and went together to my grandma in Gävle. After some amazing and very intense days through Scandinavia, where we have thrown ourselves into constant new situations and meetings, it feels nice but also kind of weird to suddenly find myself in the little row house of my Grandma. It has looked the same for as long as I can remember and here we are, three generations of moms and a little energetic two year old. I will definitely continue to investigate my theme Blonde, because it feels like I just started. But I think a break can do me good to get some healthy distance. Actually, a cup of tea and a good chat with my mom usually gives me perspectives to find track again. She is one of the brightest people I know.

So, until I pick the camera up again, I will continue to share some more moments from the road with you.
