Today the winners of UNICEF’s Photo of the Year Award were announced at a press conference in Berlin. Among the awarded photographers are three members of Moment: Andrea Gjestvang was awarded the third prize for her project One Day in History, about the survivors of the Utøya massacre in Norway, Laerke Posselt was awarded fourth prize for her project Beautiful Child about child beauty pageants in the USA and Åsa Sjöström recieved an honorable mention for her work on witchcamps in Ghana.

The Unicef Photo of the Year Award has been held annually by Unicef Germany and GEO magazine since 2000. The award is given to photographers whose work captures the personalities and living conditions of children around the world in an outstanding manner.
